I had the honor of originating the role of Lauren in the debut production of Objects in Motion in Fort Worth, Texas. A snapshot of five teenage girls navigating the intensity of their competitive dance season. As they train, each girl grapples with profound questions about their artistic and intellectual growth: Are we real? How do we befriend our biggest competitors? What is acceleration—like, really? The play delves into the existential dread of being a teenage girl in the performing arts, exploring how they search for meaning, connection, and their place in both the universe and with each other.
